All enrollment options include a digital and/or hard copy textbook and course guide, exam fees, and related shipping costs and taxes. Upon passing the final exam, AMCOMP will send a digital certificate and badge. Graduates are also invited to attend the Annual Meeting at a discounted rate, where we recognize recent graduates at the Celebration Breakfast.

All tracks are designed to be supplemental to the WCP textbook. Attendees will need to be familiar with the entire text to be prepared for the exam.


AMCOMP Members: $880
NAMIC Members: $1000
Nonmembers: $1,100

This course includes access to the live virtual course (dates listed below), slides, midterm and final exams. It does not contain chapter assessments that are available as part of the self-study track. While students are encouraged to attend all of the sessions to maximize the benefit, recordings will be available on-demand. Students will have until November 30, 2026, to complete and pass the final exam.

The virtual course is designed to be supplemental to the WCP textbook. Attendees will need to be familiar with the entire text to be prepared for the exam.

Elise Farnham – AMCOMP Virtual Course Instructor
Elise Farnham is president of Illumine Consulting and is an internationally acclaimed speaker, educator, author, and expert witness with more than 45 years of experience in risk management and insurance. She began her career as a multiline adjuster and went on to hold executive positions with Crawford & Co., GAB Robins N.A., the Harmonie Group, and Carson-Brooks.

This track includes access to learning management software where students can review chapter content, participate in chapter assessments to gauge comprehension of the material, and ultimately complete the midterm and final exams. This track is entirely student paced, and students have six months from enrollment to pass the final exam.

The self-study course is designed to be supplemental to the WCP textbook. Attendees will need to be familiar with the entire text to be prepared for the exam.


hybrid track:
self-study + virtual course

Nonmembers: $1,375

This hybrid track combines the self-study and summer virtual course options to provide self-paced and instructor-led learning. Students will have access to the chapter reviews and assessments as well as the summer virtual course. While students are encouraged to attend all of the sessions (2026 dates listed above) to maximize the benefit, recordings will be available on-demand. Students will have until November 30, 2026, to complete and pass the final exam. On-demand access to the summer 2025 virtual course is also available. If students enroll in the on-demand virtual course, they have six months from enrollment to pass the final exam.

The hybrid track is designed to be supplemental to the WCP textbook. Attendees will need to be familiar with the entire text to be prepared for the exam.

This registration option is for those already enrolled in the self-study track. Add the summer virtual course to receive the full educational benefits of the self-study + virtual course as outlined above, including video instruction from an industry expert. Students can select if they want access to the on-demand virtual course (last recorded during the summer 2025) or the upcoming live summer virtual course.

The virtual course add-on is designed to be supplemental to the WCP textbook. Attendees will need to be familiar with the entire text to be prepared for the exam.

SPRING virtual course

Held in Partnership with University of Southern Maine

Course Fee: $1,100

This course is currently in progress for 2026. This virtual course includes 10 weekly online modules taught by Dana Kerr, the MEMIC/John T. Leonard Endowed Chair in Risk Management & Insurance at the University of Southern Maine (USM). Attendees can view lessons at their own pace, with new recorded lessons uploaded every week available to access on demand. Additionally, attendees will have access to practice multiple choice questions to help gauge understanding. More information about the 2027 course will be available in December 2026.
